I made this piece to give as a gift to musician Kurt Vile. The star design comes from the dot of the letter “i” in the album cover art from B’lieve I’m Goin Down. I covered the edge with sheet music from Neil Young’s song “Philadelphia” because Kurt is from Philly and Neil Young is one of his favorite musicians.

I was lucky enough to be able to give it to him in person, and it was probably one of my favorite experiences ever! He is one of my faves.
